![]() ![]() There's not really any "solution" for weaker decks, you either run a large going 2nd package and get a weaker turn 1 or brick entirely, or you run less going 2nd cards and win semi-consistently going first but always lose going 2nd. ![]() Pretty much the entire reason why Splights are so broken in the TCG is that any level 2 remaining on the field means full combo no matter what handtrap you have, and they can still play under Dark Ruler by setting their quickplay while having full resources next turn because you can't OTK them. The thing that differentiates good decks from bad decks is how many extenders they have to play around handtraps/negations with going second, and how broken their starters are going first to end on diverse endboards. Don't bother me anymore.Pretty much this. There were plenty of outs to Tyrant Neptune too, but it got banned because its cancer and requires specific outs that few decks are running right now. I emailed them, they don't even check here), but because its time to push the next set/format they want to create. Not because the people whine and say so (in fact if you REALLY want to make a point, do it on their website, not here. I can't emphasize this enough, but when they really want to address it as a problem, they will. If it was REALLY a problem, they can (and have) put out an emergency ban. Konami is going to ban "problem cards/combos" because people whine about them. ![]() That's understandable, but that doesn't make all the whining any less salty. It's not that the cards have nothing you can do, it's that its annoying and you don't want to build a counter around a niche scenario. Originally posted by Silamon:No offense, but this is the same argument people used to defend Tyrant Neptune copying independent nightingale.Īnd that's the thing. If you can bother to fit in like 1 card to counter the scenario you're unhappy about, that means its not actually as big a problem as you're making it out to be.Īnd that's the thing. ![]() the methods I mentioned I even pointed out are splashable, one is even extra deck. There is plenty of answers, people who are salty because their deck doesn't usually want to incorporate them is on them. Not because people whine, but because they need to push the next thing. It will ban it when it needs to be banned. Konami knows what its doing, it *LITERALLY* has this down to a science and has for several years now. No offense, but every single one of these "THIS SHOULD BE BANNED" threads is just a whole lot of salt. Originally posted by Raven:direct attackers, Kaiju, Underworld Goddess Of The Closed World, anything with piercing, any of those can work, at least underworld and kaiju are splashable (and cheap), so.what's the problem?
